One of the new business models in export empowerment and export development of small and medium enterprises is the export accelerator model. In this model, enterprises are evaluated based on a problem-solving process and their strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats in becoming a world-class export enterprise are examined, then a plan is made for each enterprise according to the results of the assessments. The export accelerator model includes a variety of programs that are usually planned and implemented in a period of 9 months to one year. The most important of these activities are:
1. Phase 1 - Export Readiness Assessment (ERA)
2. Phase 2 - Strengthening the business infrastructure
3. Phase 3 - Empowerment
4. Phase 4 - Strategic planning and international marketing research
5. Phase 5 - Development and implementation of business events
