Tehran — The Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) has named 50 exemplary and medal-winning exporters across five categories of goods and services, following the registration of more than 450 applicants in this year’s national selection process.
Amir Roshanbakhsh Qanbari, Deputy for International Business Development at TPO, stated that evaluation criteria included technology level, knowledge-based exports, expansion into emerging markets, high value-added products, and international certifications such as halal and organic standards.
He announced that 12 types of export incentives—covering insurance, infrastructure support, and participation in domestic and international exhibitions—will soon be introduced by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
Roshanbakhsh also unveiled plans for “Export Week,” featuring seven specialized forums on topics ranging from knowledge-based services and SMEs to regional agreements and global market development. This year’s national export theme is: “Smart Trade, Export-Oriented Production.”
