Simplifying Order Registration Processes / Emphasis on an Export Leap

According to the Public Relations Office of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, a business breakfast meeting was held with Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, along with government officials and representatives of the private sector at the Tehran Chamber of Commerce.

Dehghan Dehnavi stressed the need for an export leap, noting that Iran’s exports have remained around USD 50 billion in recent years, while some developing countries have surpassed USD 100 billion. He highlighted the importance of improving product quality, marketing, and international market presence to increase export volumes.

He also pointed to the expansion of trade centers in target countries, the signing of free and preferential trade agreements, and the improvement of trade exhibitions as key tools for export development. According to him, Iran’s exports to Eurasian Economic Union countries have grown 22-fold since the free trade agreement was signed.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade further stated that removing trade barriers and facilitating exports are among the main goals of the TPO, expressing hope that with a shift in approach, Iran will witness a significant export breakthrough.
